Dear Sir or Madam,

　　I am taking the liberty of writing to you to apply for a post in your corporation. I would like to introduce myself as a qualified applicant for the post you are offering.

　　My name is Xu Liping.I am now a serior student studing in the ZheJing Vocational College Of Commerce.expecting to graduate in 3 months. My major course is Tourism English.I feel that my qualifications,skills and experience are ideally suited for the position you are advertising.

　　In the past 3 years ,I have received professional training in English language skills and have developed a good ability in translation and interpretion , listening and writing,espercially quite competent in oral communication in English. Furthermore, I master the computer skills because I understand that society needs English majors with an overall proficiency in other subjects areas. What’s more , I used my spare time to study the “International Commerical Documents” and finally get the qualification of it . So I believe that such educational and professional training all contribute to my qualifications for the post I am applying for.

　　You may be interested to know what honorary titles I had got. I was awarded important prizes,both at unversity level and at district level . In JUNE 2006, I passed the College English Text Band-4(CET-4) with high scores .Also joined the CET-6 and the English Tour Guide in DEC 2006 .I have got the certificate of Practical Oral English and so on .

　　In my extra-curricular activities , I joined the college’s “Crazy English Society” and was elected the President and was award as the Excellent President of College Society for two times in 2005.About my working experience I had went to” China (ShaoXing) International Textile Expo” committee to attract foreigners investment to shaoxing’s textile . Also went to the “China Council For The Promotion Of International Trade ZheJing Sub Council ” to work as a probationer to help fill in the form of applying to UK Visa .

　　I am easy-going ,patient and cooperative by nature.I enjoy getting along with different sorts of people and helping them when they have difficulties or problems. I always finished assignments rapidly and efficiently in a carefully.
